Carmen Jenner
Living in the most isolated city on earth has created a wanderlust for Carmen Jenner since she could read, 30-something years ago. Based in Perth in Western Australia as a freelance travel and food writer, she has written for several guidebooks including Great Gourmet Weekends in Australia where she was the WA contributor, Hide & Seek Perth, and the Top 50 Restaurant Guide WA. Her work has appeared in several local and international magazines including Perth-based Cravings Magazine, Asian Geographic Passport, The Australian Newspaper, Chaat Magazine, Going Places, and Tiger Tales. She currently writes for The Agenda Daily Perth where she reviews cultural happenings around town, and is co-authoring a memoir about a Vietnamese chef. In between assignments, eating, and dragging her family to far-flung places in search of the perfect meal, she is creating her own memoir called Fluffy Towel Travel Experiences. Carmen is a member of the Australian Society of Travel Writers and the International Food, Wine and Travel Writers Association.
